The afternoon of day 3 saw us in a grove of ancient Kauri trees. These trees are about 600 – 800 years old. They tower majestically over the top of the forest canopy providing an awesome sight.
When we film we must stand silently. To stand silent in the midst of such a large number of these ancient trees is a spiritual experience.
